Is that a work thing? Like a company car?

It's the 'spare' company car(s) which are already leased/there but don't currently have a driver, aka the dregs.

How about this for a little bling. Not my bike but I photographed it. It was a raffle prize for the 70th annual national mail contractors convention in Milwaukee. The theme was mail delivery through the years from the beginning The paint job alone cost 30k. If anyone would like to see more detailed close-ups of the artwork, they're on my website which I haven't updated for a while.

God I want one of these so bad. I'm actually considering selling my Omega (my by-far-most-used watch) to get a deposit for a lease on one...

The link is broken.. so not sure what the car is... but unless it's a vintage Ferrari or Lotus, I still wouldn't do it...

Silly boy. Just wait until CPO prices are reasonable.

Many the time I am ready to buy, the car I want won't even be in production.

But by that time I'll want the new model. And it'll take years to get even to £20k which will cost like 350 a month, as opposed to 279 on lease. And the depreciation will be roughly 350 a month so I'm just paying off that and not any capital. So I'll be in the same boat when I come to change it in 2 years - just like a lease.

The only way to own a modern Mercedes or BMW is on lease IMHO.

I still really want to own a vintage Mercedes...
