The classic Italian combo of pears, Gorgonzola and prosciutto have become a favourite at Chez Hank of late. This version with the pears fried in brown butter and the gorgonzola turned into a cream sauce served on papperdelle is the best yet. FREAKING delicious!

Thai tuna stir fry. Took longer to eat than cool which is awesome. Utterly delicious. I really like eastern cuisine.

I was told to make 'something like lasagna or pierogis'. Whatever the heck that's supposed to mean.

    I made pierogi lasagna.

That leaves a lot of room for creative interpretation.

I think I see layers of potato, cheese, tomato, pasta, is that bacon? But what is that on top, piped sour cream? I confess that I can taste that in my mind, and my mouth is sorta watering. I imagine potatoes au gratin with toasty bits and more bacon.
