That looks like a great selection. Severely lacking in fresh chili options here. We're lucky if we can find jalapeños.

Meat stuffed with meat wrapped in meat.

Yesterday was our quarterly meat day. 6-10 friends meet up, drink, cook, cigars, watches, etc.

Must be the angle. Wife says I look friendlier with a full beard, but she doesn't like that it makes my face look fatter (her words).

I just shaved it back to the chin pubes a few weeks ago. Might have to go back to the full for winter.

The gent saying we're number one bought my Stowa LE flieger. I helped him buy his first watch, a GMT Hamilton, earlier this year. I think he's hooked.

About 75% alcohol. That is, 150 proof. We made it from grappa distilled from a second wine (marc) back when I was winemaking. A friend built a very well designed medical grade still that could deliver 93% alcohol, and we were very careful to section out the heads and tales to keep the results quite clean. Then I would separately extract flavors from homegrown and collected herbs, and blend them for good flavor. Interestingly, even when "watering down" with other root extractions using 40% vodka, I still sometimes had trouble with the plant oils clouding the blend (it would "louche" very easily, in other words.)
Too many watches, not enough wrists.

If you drank a full glass of it all at once, sure. The big problem would be the searing in your throat. But by little sips, though, it was rather smooth. generally, however, I stick to fermented "adult" beverages. I love a good single-malt but my body reminds me otherwise the next day, sometimes. So for the most part I stick to wine and beer. I enjoyed making those herbal blends, though.

Actually yeah I can drink 60% scotch no problem. 93% is just... boozier.

A GMT Hamilton(Conservation) was the watch that started it all for me as well. I have since given it to my brother, but sometimes I wish I kept it.

They are nice watches. At least you can borrow it from your brother.

My friend's isn't the Conservation, but he loves it.
