I'd love an Evo. They seem to hold their value much better then the STi and also seem to blow up a lot less.

But $43k gets awful close to what the new Mustang GT350 with a lot more power and that flat plane crank 5.2ltr sound.

Mitsubishi don't appear to advertise any new lancers on their UK website.

I need FWD or AWD for my daily once I leave school. Plus, maintenance on an M3!

There is a new model coming out soon. Maybe they killed the old model early in the UK.

The old Evos used to require an oil change every 5000 miles. Not sure what the maintenance schedule is for the Evo X.

An M3 with a spare set of 18s and a good winter performance tire will cover any situation you could drive through in our area. My last daily driver was a Benz E63 Estate. RWD, 507hp 6.2L V8. I swapped from summer 19s to winter 18s and Blizzaks for the bad weather. It was as good as my AWD Cayenne GTS with all season tires on it.

    Is that rare?

All the cars I have ever owned are older and call for 3500 miles.

3500 miles is a pretty short interval for an oil change. Have you tried oil analysis from a place like Blackstone?
