6 hours of oak. Tri tip, again. Sweet mopping sauce reduced from drippings. Had parents over. Actually paid me when they left. They want more. Smokey. Sweet. Hint of heat. Next Sunday, Ma?

Yesterday's dinner. Tandoori marinated chicken with salad and taugé, mushrooms, bacon and cashew nuts marinated in ginger.
The accompanying rice is not in the picture

Yeah, I never liked salad because the old fashioned kind I got as a child was drowned in vinegar like sour substances. Once I've discovered you can do so much more, I really am into these. Especially when it's hot outside.

Made several things, but forgot to post them,.... So I'll stick with yesterday:

For lunch a nice Vegetarian sandwich from the bbq.

End in the evening a nice Brisket, which was also on a bbq for 11,5 hours.

Today I had a lot left so made some burnt ends, which is always a treat. So back on the bbq for ~4 hours.

Some beautiful, fresh wild caught sockeye tonight. I just want to take a bite out of these as is.

Enjoyed some Greek food from Layla's in Little Rock, AR while traveling over the weekend. The place was small, but the food was outstanding!
