Below -20 with the wind tonight, so I made some soup. And then I made a mistake. It is fresh turkey breast and bacon with beans and veggies, and I thought I opened 2 tins of white kidney beans and one of them was chick peas. Flavor is fine, but texture is not what I wanted and it pissed me off a bit.
Still good though. The star of the show might have been the beauty head of young red kale I found. The broth was a little thin so I finished it with ultra-fine shredded parmesan to give it a touch of viscosity. Worked out fine.
