Here in the several publications, the Type R has bested everything on your list (Except I don't believe the BMW is sold here). So don't discount it because it is front wheel drive only.
The dealer also told me that even 400hp is no problem with the stock clutch and transmission, but he advised to opt for a larger intercooler then.It's only a software tune for higher power. I think you guys have lower stock hp cos your gas is low octane. Here we have 95 as lowest octane (euro95) and 98 octane is super+, all available at the gasstation, and for higher performance you can buy octaneboosters to go above 100 octane.
