When I bought mine, I got the extended warranty, which goes an extra two years for a total of five. When I asked how many additional miles you got with the extended warranty, they told me "unlimited." The reason is the average AM owner apparently puts around 3000 miles per year on their car, so mileage was deemed irrelevant.
At my current pace, I would have to own the car for over ten years before needing a new clutch. Same thing with tires--they may be expensive, but it would be at most one new set every 5-7 years given the amount of mileage I put on the car.
