Until the last two games, the switch to three at the back had given us the best defensive record in the league. I think it's important to remember that we lost the last two games by playing badly rather than playing a bad system.
We have lacked the ability to apply pressure up top through a consistent goal threat but the run of good results has ended because of sloppy, naive work by individual players, imo.

Wearing my sky blue polo shirt for City today, and they are playing some breathtaking stuff right now. Aguero's goal is a typical Aguero goal. Impeccable positioning, impeccable timing, and impeccable finishing.
1-0 City.

Yeesh, messy goal, but a goal nonetheless. 1-1, thanks to Ashley Young of all people.

2-1 United through a goal by the hated Fellaini.

I root for United, but I'm not a Fellaini fan by any stretch. He's great on set pieces, but I find him fairly over-rated as an all-around player. United does well when play goes through Carrick and Mata, though Blind had himself a good first half, utterly dominating the left side of the pitch.

Once in awhile you get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right.

I can't stand Fellaini. Not only is he a former Everton and now United player, he's dirty as the day is long.

Holy hell. 3-1 United (though Mata was marginally offside). City has crumbled over these past few matches.

I think both of United's second half goals may very well have been offside. Final score is 4-2 United. Hate to say it, but City looks a target for us now.
