Now I'm fine with that in a bracelet, in a strap however I hate it. I think it's because the bracelet counterbalances the watch head but on the strap the head wins and starts flopping around during the loose phase of the day. That and every damn strap I own needs a new hole dead centre of two, on stock I'm either tight or loose, can never win.

Wrist size not only varies between seasons, it can also vary during the day. Depends on lots of things. Humidity, temperature, alcohol intake, body temperature. My Breitling's bracelet is a tad too snug, so I can really feel every little bit of change in wrist size.

Wrist size can change a bit if you lose 100lb. Ask me how I know this.
Fortunately, a pocketwatch is immune to these annoyances.

Missing manual.
I wear watch lose, I can stick finger under the band/bracelet, but not as lose so watch moves around my wrist. I just don't feel comfortable when bracelet is tight. As for fashion/cool looks kind of things, I don't give a $...
