Well I only went in that range once (a bit less with discount and VAT refund but in that ballpark generally).

The GO Panograph is in my view a supremely elegant chronograph with a stunning movement. There are not many high end chronographs with a manual wind movement that looks like this that are out there (in this price range). The Glashutte style of engraved balance cock, gold chatons and blued screws adds to the visual flare in addition to the superb overall finishing.

Its also an in house movement developed in the 21st century; one of the first to follow the Datograph in terms of introducing a brand new chronograph movement.

I believe the Mont Blanc uses an old minerva design and most other comparable watches would be using Lemania 2310.

I'm thinking I should do a full review soon actually to contribute to some activity on the HE sub forum.

At the 30k price, I'm partial to the ALS Richard Lange observation watch in platinum. Beautiful simplicity with an attention to details that rivals few.

The case is 41mm, and I love…I was going to list a bunch of stuff, but I literally like everything about this watch.

^That ALS is 'only' 30? Thought it was more.

I believe it is, but I have seen some gray market prices a bit under 30. For some reason it seems to be one of the ALS pieces that retains value/goes for a bit under retail price than a lot of the others. But, yes, you won't get that at an AD for 30.

^I do love that VC. I was down to that or the FP Journe CS... ended up with the Journe but the VC might be next on the hit list

I doubt you'd be disappointed. Saw some Journes a few weeks ago for the first time; great craftsmanship, and the movements are beautiful to behold. However, I personally don't care for the hands, and for that kind of money, any significant dislike rules out a watch for me...
