Yesterday I had a rather interesting meal as well, might as well share it here

    Lunch:

    Balinese style crispy Duck

    The view from my window

    Dinner:

Omu-rice (fried tomato rice wrapped with omelette)

Salmon sashimi with some concoction on top (I recalled the concoction has spring onion, crispy salmon skin and possibly some chilli)

That Wagyu is seriously fatty, was it served and eaten raw?

I cook mostly vegan and vegetarian at home, eat fish occasionally but actually having a steak only happens 2 or 3 times a year - I have to really fancy it.

Cooked a fish curry last night with haddock, served with aloo gobi and flat bread. No pics because the gannets descended and ate the lot.

I think I would struggle with that wagyu though.

    For today

    Lunch:

Lamien (handmade noodle) with beef brisket

Xiao Long Bao (traditional meat dumpling)

Black bun with salted egg filling

    Dinner:

Curry rice with pork loin katsu

    Melon pudding dessert

The wagyu I had the other day was grilled

Still not as good as hida beef I had in Takayama though,it's what I considered as Rolls Royce of meat, difficult to top that
