Seeing some of the abilities of the photographers around here, I have no business joining a photo contest, but this topic is applicable. For any of you that follow me on twitter you might have seen that I won a photography contest with Horween (won me some shell cordovan: sweet) where they wanted to see people working with their leather. One of my hobbies is strapmaking, so it applies to this contest as well.

    This was the winning shot:

    Good luck everyone!
It is now my duty to completely drain you.

Is shaving a hobby? If you ditch the Gillette and start reading up about different DE razor openings, consider buying vintage pieces, and discuss the pros and cons of platinum coated or feather blades then yes, I think it is.

Great shots, everyone! I will be updating the poll later today so keep an eye out and make sure that I got your entries correct. I previously said the deadline was midnight GMT on March 10th, but I meant for the 10th to be the last day for submissions. So technically it will be midnight on the 11th & we have about 30 hours left.

As for the hobby aspect, the watch is resting on the 6 speed shifter of my old Jetta Wolfsburg. I am a car nut--perhaps even more than watches (and I only say perhaps to spare your wrath, though I do feel that the two interests are rather nicely intertwined).
Car guy here too. I'd actually taken a very similar shot a while back. Even thought of using it for the competition:
