I'll bring it on Sunday if I come along.
In this one the case is no wider than the bezel, the lugs are integrated and straight.

And I suppose there's a fourth variable here, lightening the overall effect - the lugs are narrowed in the third dimension

In the instance of the SBGH005 the case goes beyond the bezel, the lugs are integrated and straight:

Whatever the opposite of something being All Dial is, this is it

This is a Seiko stock picture of the SBGH, problem is the stock picture does not do the watch any justice at all. In the flesh the SBGH001 and SBGH005 is far more elegant and the lugs are nowhere near as big as on the stock pictures.

JP has some great shots of his SBGH001.

As usual, Seiko, great at watchmaking, terrible at taking photos of their watches.

Picked up the SBGA105 a couple months back. Perfect in most ways that you would want a Grand Seiko - Dial - great, hands - great, accuracy - wow, but strangely for a GS with its huge lugs, thick bracelet and domed Sapphire it wore very large so I decided to sell it (sale should go through in next 2 weeks).

I decided I wanted something a tad smaller and ordered the SBGR059. 38mm, brushed lugs instead of polished (I prefer brushed), Titanium, Blue Seconds hand.

In GS case/lug design there seems to be three variables:
    - whether the case goes wider than the bezel
    - whether the lugs are integrated into the shape of the case
    - whether the lugs are scalloped or straight
