Thread: Spring!

    Spring!

The first of your daffodils are out, so I call spring.
Hope the snow melts soon for those of you who still have it

The same 3 feet of snow that's been on the ground for the last 8+ weeks is still here, and it was almost -20 last night.

I'm not complaining, but spring is still a ways out for us. Wiarton Willy and Punxsutawney Phil couldn't shake hands this year, so it's anyone's guess.
It is now my duty to completely drain you.

Not a flake of snow all winter down our way; much to my wife's annoyance.... She desperately wanted to build a snowman with our children.

You should pick one of those daffodils and put it in a clear vase or glass with some water and food coloring.

Ah, that puts coloured veins in it doesn't it? I'll do that with my son, he'd love it.

It does and I've never met a child who didn't get a kick out of it. It teaches them about how flowers drink water too.

We are down to patches of snow hiding about, all of it should be gone by EOD tomorrow at this rate. 50's and sun has been OUTSTANDING!
