I spend large amounts of time in the woods, and for much of that time I will eat only what I can produce on my own, through foraging, fishing, hunting, etc.

#1 thing I can't eat fast enough when I get home? Fresh, raw veggies. Depending on the time of year I'm out, the best I can expect to do in that regard:

    - fiddleheads
    - chicken of the woods
    - wild blueberries and raspberries (often just left with chokecherry)

I have found wild asparagus, eaten cattail but don't like it. I suppliment some vitamins with pine tea and wintergreen, and I have a list of about 100 other native plants that are edible, but just because you can eat it doesn't mean you'll want to, or will sustain yourself. Aside from CotW, which is easily identified, I don't bother with mushrooms, even with reference in hand. Just too risky. People always want to worry about me eating when igo out, but I've never gone hungry; I just always lose my sanity over a lack of vegetables.
It is now my duty to completely drain you.

Yes, except for the ham, all of the moose, venison and wild turkey have been taken and frozen. The list does not mention the veggies such as carrots, cabbage, cauliflower, and broccoli. We also eat salads. Pie for dessert.

If you come to a fork in the road; take it, and then put it down so someone else can use it.

Well, I despise peanut butter, but love the sauce, even if the former is one of the ingredients. So it's definitely not the same. Try to think more oriental in taste.
Or just come over for a visit, and I could treat you to a number of meals that include this ingredient.
