Great post Mikey. Both of those watches have huge appeal for me. I do wonder how comfortable the Ingy would be on my slim wrist though.

That watch is perfect. I've never had a grail but that would be it if only it was about 38mm.

    I can only agree, Glenn.
Put the VC Ingenieur on a diet and it would be the perfect watch; take 4 mm of both diameter and thickness, leaving 38.5 mm and 10.4 mm, respectively. Perfect dimensions. Add the blue sunburst dial and red tip on the second-hand of the Laureus Edition (pictured above) would make that watch just perfect.

Haha, yes i did The only IWC i kinda like is the "Portugieser 75th anniversary". I never understood the hype, but hey, i also dislike the AP RO, Panerai's and a lot of other watches everybody seems to adore. On the other side i like G-shock's Swatches and other watches most WIS dislike/are neutral to, so my taste is, errrrrr... different. Most watches i own(ed) are not common on the forums, like, for example the Cuervo y Sobrinos Pirata horas del mundo, the black and white Cellini Danaos. And if you remember how i bought the Daytona everose/chocolat, came home and looked at the watch and wondered "WTF was i thinking???", stashed in my vault for 6months without wearing it once, and then returned it to the AD and took a whopping 6€K loss....and so on, and so on... So please notice, my taste is no reference

Watch porn at its best, especially the way you've got them performing together.

    Great stuff.
I don't like 90% of what IWC does these days but I bought the 3239. It feels like it could have come from the days when I actually admired the company and its approach.

One day, I'll make my pilgrimage to Japan and then I'll have a very similar pair of watches to this.
