What are your weird little watch habits?
I have one which I know is really counterintuitive, but I can't help it. If I have a watch which runs fast, say 5 seconds a day, I'll set it a minute slow so that over 2 weeks it gets more accurate. Before it gets beyond being "right" and therefore starts getting less accurate I set it back to a minute slow. I do the same for slow watches, and set them fast so that they drop back to accuracy.
Somewhere deep down I am happy with a watch getting more accurate day by day, but I can't have the time drifting away from GMT. I realise that this means my watches are often less accurate than they could be. I could set the fast watch 30 seconds slow and let it run for two weeks to approx 30 seconds fast, never being worse than +/- 30s, but that second week would drive me nuts..

I own more watches than I have wrists, that would be considered weird by most people I know.
I am thinking about buying another watch....ditto above...

Keeping a running total of the number of times I wear a watch during the month with complete breakdown based on movement type, case finish, etc is apparently pretty weird...

What ever you do don't let her catch you taking a picture of your dinner and posting that to your "watch buddies" .That's just odd - apparently

When I put a watch on in the morning, I'll wind and set it if it is a manual movement.
But if it is an automatic, I put it on and set it after it has gotten wound by movement. I always think that a quick wind will only wind that last little bit of the power reserve where the watch isn't as accurate and think what's the point of setting it when it will be off before it is more fully wound.
I can't tell you how many times I get to work and have a fire to put out before I get a chance to set the watch and realize much later that I've been wearing a watch not even close to telling the right time. All because I didn't want it to be a fraction of a second off after I set it.
