You know, its a great watch, but the bracelet is driving me a bit nuts. With the half link its a smidge too big. Without it it's just a smidge too tight. I need a half-half link...and no micro adjustment.

This might end up on a strap

I completely agree with you. I hated the bracelet with a passion. Could never get the right fit, especially in the hot summer months. The rubber strap is the way to go!

If you can pick up another half-link, just replace one of the full links with it. That should give the fit you need. I know.... more expense

Hmm so I'm assuming a half link isn't exactly half a regular link in size

Know where one might get another half link?

    I have three omegas

Speedy pro which has a wonderful bracelet that fits perfectly
Speedy broad arrow which has a miserable bracelet that I gave up on
And now the PO which has a nice bracelet, I like how it's built, but seems to be a bad fit and in need of a second half link. I'd say verdict is still out on this one but there's a 90% chance t ends up on a strap soon

it does look good on a strap though.
My strap of choice is a perforated calf leather

it's like the Omega rally strap but it doesn't have the fitted end and also doesn't suffer from that bulging between the lugs that can happen with the Omega strap. The curved end also fills the lugs better as I find that straight ended ones always look like they're set too close to the end of the lugs.
