Watch GTG at the Axpona audio show in Chicago

There are a lot of watch enthusiasts in the audio community and we have our own, very small Facebook group where we share purchases and interests.

@mlcor joined us for our Friday event at Axpona, the largest audio show in North America where there were some very fine examples. @mlcor, at my suggestion, wore his Credor and it was the talk of the GTG. "A true grail" was uttered often and even this morning, one of the attendees mentioned it to me, unprovoked, as being "an absolute incredible work of art".

I brought my Tokyo Olympics Seamaster on the wrist and 5 micro brands as they are not often seen in the wild.

@mlcor only stayed for a few hours to listen to some systems and I had six exhibition rooms with my products, so, being quite tired, I stayed local for dining. I did go to Perry's Steak House a couple of times just down the road, but mostly ate at the hotel.

I've been to Chicago dozens of times so have eaten my way through the city thoroughly, prior.

The convention isn't really that close to downtown, it's in the western suburbs, plus I'm in the far northern suburbs (almost in Wisconsin), so unfortunately the timing wasn't going to work well. Plus Walter had to work.

Ooh, I do like a good steakhouse, I’ll have to add Perry’s to my list.

Have you ever been to Alinea? I desperately want to go there, but I’ve never been to Chicago.
