And yes. It’s very Justin Spitzer, and while I thought the pilot worked, it has continued to improve episode by episode. It’s very reminiscent of shows like Superstore, which was also created by Spitzer, as well as The Office (which I believe he worked on). I definitely suggest giving it another try, I think it’s just behind the longer running Abbott Elementary, which is probably the best sitcom right now.
Yes, you're right, that's who I meant. OK, I'll give it another try. Part of the issue is I'm generally not a huge comedy fan.

You sound like a lot of fun!
I have found that some people just like to hear themselves typing.

I'll have you know that people consider me to be loads of fun, and reasonably witty. Which is why I don't need all that much comedy TV watching.

We watched the Residence on Netflix that is kind of a variance on the Daniel Craig Knives Out series. This was very well written from the murder mystery side and highly funny with the quicks of the detective's approach. We've enjoyed both series.

Next the second season of the Night Agent was excellent. We watched the first season since everyone we know said the way they had the Chief of Staff made up she had resemblance to my wife. My wife is a bit smaller than her and has longer hair. The story kept us watching and though the FBI agent is reasonably big he does not win every fight. Far more realistic to see this. Both season have been very good.

Night Agent second season started strong, but ended up being completely nonsensical in the back half. It was okay. Still better than Black Doves.

Finished season 3 of Reacher last night. I need to go back and watch all eight episode together. I enjoyed this and it was different to see Reacher be the little guy. This was not even in my top ten from the books, and I'll admit I was disappointed with the choice of this book. I liked the show better than the book. I can think of 6-7 other books that I would prefer over this one. I have to go back and reread the last chapter of this one since I don't remember him riding off on a Harley. I don't think it even mentioned his departure from the town in this book.
    Cheers,

    Michael

I started Deli Boys. The violence is over the top and played for comedy, but it mostly comes off as hokey. I did get a few laughs from the pilot though, so I’ll give it a try. But boy, does it hit close to home. I know so many kids who are just like them, Drexel and everything.

It’s nice to see Philadelphia get some screen time, but damn, everything is about the crime here. Long Bright River, Deli Boys, Mare of Easttown (even though that’s not really Philly). Can’t we have like a neutral show that’s set in Philadelphia? Philadelphia is the cradle of American law and all the lawyer shows are set in New York.
