Out last night, this was a good one. "Pear of Aces", near the bottom of the list.

I'm drinking ginger ale as my stomach is in knots. I've had some not-so-fun bouts of gagging and feeling nauseated the last couple of days. This flu/bug thing simply will not let go. I feel the cough is abating but the ehaustion won't.

I'm drinking Mucinex. Several days now. Can't shake the cough. Unproductive too. I can feel the chest rattle. I have lost my sense of smell. I haven't been sick in 3 years!! My wife is worse than I am too!!!!

So many students have been out for long stretches, like being gone six days over a 10 day period. This has been a wicked bad flu season, and this version just won't go away. The symptoms aren't too bad, but that unproductive cough is beyond annoying, and the melodic purr of my rattling chest is not as soothing as you might think. Not exactly the background noise one turns to when trying to fall asleep. Sooo glad the US FDA decided to skip their annual "let's figure out which flu strains to vaccinate for" meeting. Nex year's flu season could be brutal.

Fluid behind both eardrums. Sinus infection. Respiratory inflammation, chest congestion, asthma like wheezing. All from tree pollen. Nothing that 5 meds can't fix in 10 more days.
