    But not all of it.

You should have heard the dressing down I received from Freyja last time.

    3’ish more miles.

Hopefully my foot gets back with the program like it should. Feels ok actually.

Some motivation @Mediocre. One of my favorite US strongmen, Trey "Big Thicket" Mitchell, doing a 915lb/415kg trap bar deadlift. Trey recently deadlifted 1036lbs/470kg raw with straps at the Giants Live show we went to in Vegas. Trey is around 375lbs/170kg bodyweight.

That is a big dude and a lot of weight. Wow. Never really pushed for any sort of bodybuilding, even when I was in the Army. 26 Newtons is the only weight I ever concerned myself with.

Trained with a guy like that in Maryland. 7' tall corn fed southern kid body builder. (No exaggeration, he was 7') I was 5'7 165 pounds. First thing I did was offer him a cookie and say we should be friends...

On youtube/instagram, this guy's videos have never failed to amuse me:

I did take a bodybuilding class my senior year of high school (19 years ago now) and learned the difference between slow twitch/fast twitch muscle. I've always assumed I was more blessed on the slow twitch side.

A lot of the Anatoly stuff is setup/fake weights. @geoffbot disagrees, but he's wrong.

I think he is a strong dude, but not how his videos make him appear. He only competed as a junior, so his Open Powerlifting information shows very low single event numbers as well as barely totaling more than 1000lbs. There are posts out there saying he lifts a lot more now, but it's tough to know what's real and what's bullshit when it's not being done on the platform.

Plenty of discussions online about it, the acting is 80s infomercial bad and it’s obvious the weights aren’t what they’re trying to make you think they are.

There is no Santa Claus either.

Around 50 more to go. But at least I can button this shirt now.

...I need a beard trim too.
That is awesome! Your discipline in enviable!

Woah! Thanks for the motivation. This makes me want to target 600lb trap bat at under 340lb bodyweight

Another day, another disagreement between my watch and the treadmill.

I have this fantasy, where at my next backpacking trip in October (goal among us to be an annual retreat) where I’ve lost more than my pack weighs since the last one.

BTW, thank you all for being my accountability tool. The deeper I get into this commitment, the more I imagine your disappointment, the motivation I retain. Thank you.
