Ha. I stopped reading that year's ago, and in fact pretty much all watch publications! I find them pretentious and trite. And yeah, mostly sponsored.

It's good that we're all honest about our opinions!

I still receive their daily email because I never bothered to unsubscribr. May read 1 every 3-4 weeks atmost. Not a big fan of the writing either, but then again I have not actually come across a watch publication or blogger that I enjoy

Checked today recently opened Grand Seiko Omotesando boutique, which somebody recommended in the old place. It was much smaller what I expected having seen their Ginza location.

Quite limited amount of pieces on display, but three sales assistants ready to take care of me. I asked for hand wound spring drives, and first I was presented a hefty platinum model. The did have also Omiwatari, which is gorgeous, and sits nicely on my wrist.

They also had LE sunrise dial model too.

And in my opinion no trip to Japan is complete without a visit in Yodobashi, se checked also GS selection in Machida branch. They had a bit more affordable models.

    Cheers, M

The Omiwatari is only 10.2mm thick, so there shouldn't be too many wrists it wouldn't be comfortable on. Some might dislike the deployant, though I've never had problems with them since I have a pretty flat wrist.

GS folding deployant fits my round wrist very well. Only butterfly deployant do I find uncomfortable.
