Clearly not. I had GEICO, I liked my coverage, I didn’t think it was all that nuts now in the age skyrocketing insurance rates.

I’m coming around on this heated steering wheel thing. It’s really been nice to be able to take the gloves off and drive with a warm wheel. I’m used to driving in this weather with the roof down, so you’d want the gloves anyway. But with the windows closed or even the sunroof open, as I was driving today, you just don’t need gloves all the time.

@mlcor Did you ever try out an Orbitkey? I continue to love mine. I mean, I’m so smitten with my new car that I sometimes just look at the key, as strange as that may be. But the Orbitkey is quite handsome as well and I find the functionality unsurpassed by any other key system. I also love having the tracker, just in case. Hope they eventually come out with a slimmer version of it.

On the uk it's unfathomable (amongst my friends anyway) to not use a comparison site for, well, everything.

I've never driven in gloves. Heated wheel ftw! Can't imagine disliking a function that you never have to use...

I though it was something I would never use in Florida. All the Jags had it and it did not get used. Then just after I bought my truck (which has it) we had a few days around 27-28F(below 0 C). Since I don't own gloves it was nice to have a warm steering wheel to grab. Our Lexus does it automatically based on the temp the climate is set to. Far more variable than the hi/low the truck has. Do I need it...No. Is it nice to have when I do...Yes! Would I pass on a car that does not have it...No. Since my current house does not have a formal garage, and only car ports this probably makes the heated wheel more useful. I will note I use the message seats far more than the heated steering wheel by a factor of 500 to 1. For my next vehicle I have it surprisingly high on the list and it's amazing how many vehicles have messaging seats now. I've really have gotten soft.

I never drive for fun any more. And it's usually on boring motorways. My dad just got a 7 series with massage seats. Sooo comfy. I'm half considering a swap...
