    Random Watch Thread #3

Looks like the last one hit a limit and got closed, so starting a new one. With an awesome first post--not sure I'd wear this, but top points for creativity. The knife shows hours, the cheese cutout shows minutes.

    1 O'clock looks a little moldy...

    LOL. Definitely unique.

Couldn’t be bothered with the reselling that your friend does, but fair play to him.

He's 100% self employed tech work/odd jobs. So it suits him pretty well. The advantage for me is getting tons of bargains on watches that would otherwise pass me by. One can always use another beater G-Shock.

    brought forward.....

A friend of mine hunts clearance aisles to find stuff to resell on ebay as a bit of a side gig. I had one of these calculator watches I think in middle school. Total nostalgia for me. Both are headed my way, along with one of the clear baby G's for Freyja. (Here's hoping it fits ok.)

He decided to purchase the entire display. When he does that, they often throw in the spinning display case for free as well. I think he has a dozen at this point. Which also get sold to collectors/etc. This is how I got my Casio Marlin Collection.

Can't wait to rock the calculator watch for a day or two.

These stainless G-Shocks are hard to kill. I've got one that I use exclusively for swimming. It has been in pool after pool for years, and is my dive toy. I'll chuck it into the deep end, dive down, grab it and repeat. For the money, I'm amazed at how durable it actually is.

Edit: And a lot of trips to the Sauna as well. The only rinse it gets is with body wash when I shower after swimming.

Possibly some resin discoloration, otherwise fully functional:
