Since I've had a bit of time lately I've been watching a few things. I'm going to give the MAX Dune series a few more episodes to see where it's going. For me right now it is too much GOT. Key keeper for me is Sam Spruell who played Mr Munch of the last season of Fargo. I still don't understand how a series that claims to be true story has a character that is a several century old assassin.

High point so far was the second season of Shrinking on Apple TV +. I went back and watched season one again first and then season two. Harrison Ford and Jason Seagal stand out from a fantastic cast. Nice break to have a great adult comedy that is worth watching with a great story line. Brett Goldstein, who was Roy Kent on Ted Lasson is great in his supporting role.

My wife and I had started, and we've now completed, watching all ten seasons of friends about 3-4 weeks ago. We really missed a lot of those when they originally aired in the last five seasons.

I wanted to do the same with Seinfeld, but they moved that to a episode purchase model
    Cheers,

    Michael

I really need to watch Shrinking season 2, I liked the first, despite not liking Jason Segel.

Also, I believe the entire run of Seinfeld is on Netflix, if you have that.

I think HBO has been chasing that GOT dragon since the show ended and they need to really break free of that shadow otherwise they’ll continue to be stuck in this sort of malaise. The Penguin was a blip, basically everything since Succession other than that has been pretty poor and received poorly.

I’m glad you’re enjoying it! When you’re done (or now, there aren’t any spoilers really), you can check out my blog post on it, if you’re so inclined.

That's strange. I did the Apple TV search and while I'm not certain which streaming app it went to it was a pay per episode model. Went to Netflix and it was available. Apple TV generally gives all the sources ao I don't know why the other came up. Also strange that the first episode is in reasonably lower resolution than the Friends episodes where. It really looks dated.

That’s interesting. I’ll check my Apple TV and see if it does the same thing.

Edit: Seinfeld doesn’t show up for me either, but I checked other Netflix titles and it’s mixed. Pokemon Concierge showed up as being on Netflix, but then I checked other shows that I know are on Netflix like Lost, AP Bio, and Resident Alien, and the lookthrough feature did not show them as being on Netflix. Must be some kind of licensing issue.
