But why!? I understand it’s under 7,000 miles, but it’s still a 20 year old car that was at best mid pack amongst its peers when it was new and has aged like a bar of soap.

I mean, one quick search shows a 2018 SL450 with 18K miles for 8 grand less. Surely that’s a more attractive option at that price point?

Are these SCs inexplicably sought after now?

Haha, I’m not! I just get the Cars & Bids emails and I took a look and was so shocked I had to share.

Craigslist and Cycle Trader here, but I’m hunting for a new road trip bike. Riding to Alaska with some friends.

I found the heated steering wheel button! What a strange place to put it, on the steering column. Nice feature, though. Not as useful as heated seats, sure, but it’s nice. I get cold hands and wear gloves long before I wear a jacket (and I never wear a jacket while driving), so it’s definitely welcomed.

Occasionally in my classic truck, but I’m the same in a normal car. My wife thinks it’s strange.

Maybe I'm just old, but I couldn't live without a heated steering wheel, especially in our climate. I hate wearing gloves while driving, it really messes with the feel of the wheel and therefore the car.
