    Yes, mine have both ref. 11773/2, ref. 11868 is the day date model! really uncommon to find.

    It's very rare. I have read that it was released for the 1972 Winter Games, which may or may not be true.

    Yes, only 5,000 were made of the day/date reference, as compared with 50,000 of the other.

    What we do not know is whether the 50,000 includes all variants of 11773 (the /1 and /2 or any others that exist).
