Interesting. What are the reference numbers on the case backs? I can't quite make them out in your photos. They should both be 11773, possibly / 1, 2, or 3. The The 11868 should be the day/date version.

In reference to the Marco Polo, mine had exactly the same vertical deep brushing on the case sides.

The Marco Polo and the Sapporo were two very similar models to the CC Mk II. I've seen other adverts for the MP, although Rado would not confirm it was an official model (they aren't necessarily experts on the entirety of their past history). The Sapporo, very rarely seen, was likely a JDM-specific model offered by Sakata, the Japanese distributor in Japan. There are at least 4 different dials (a friend has one not pictured) but I cannot recall whether there is a 2nd crown, or this would be in a MP case. I've a request for a photo in to the owner.



Update:
I also found someone selling an internal rotating ring such as the CC Mk II has, but for a "Sappro".
Oddly, no web searches for Rado Sapporo, Rado Sappro, or even the kanji characters (ラドー 札幌), turns up a whole watch.

I would expect it has a CC Mk II reference, I'll try to find out.

It does look like the case with the rally strap. I agree. It almost certainly has a CC MkII reference.
