Congrats on the re-acquisition, @DEMO. What's under the hood? I'm looking at the subdials and I don't know an automatic chronograph movement with a 9 o'clock 24hr subdial.

Nice to see that GS has made it's way in to your rotation, @skywatch!

Finished the holiday yesterday relaxing on the porch swing. Cleaned the patina off the Wempe.

Took dad to the doctors and pharmacy today. When the doctor asked him where he moved from, he told him somewhere he'd lived around 50 years ago. When we got in the car he told me that weirded him out, he is realizing how bad his memory and cognition are getting now that he's having to leave the house more regularly and interact with strangers.

Smiths on @iyonk to shuttle dad around today.

Early start, late post. Went to visit my former boss, who likes having me stop by fairly regularly to chat. I enjoy it, too.

On the way home on the highway, I heard a loud noise followed by a flat tire (luckily run-flats, so no drama), when I stopped I found this embedded in the wheel well:

So I guess it’s lucky nothing worse than a flat tire…

Yes, it is a caliber 60. It is built with an ETA 2892-2 movement with a Dubois Depraz 2073 chronograph module.
