Come across? Google maps.

Sure, but what made you look the area up? Just checking out random neighborhoods around the world? Playing Geoguessr?

A bunch of years ago (last century, actually) I was lucky enough to drive east-to-west across southern Pennsylvania in October. We hit it at peak colors. Simply breathaking.

It was a spectacular drive, but in my experience, Pennsylvania doesn't believe in picking up roadkill.

It's courtesy, really. They're leaving them for the folks that consider them good eatin'.

I made a similar trip back in the late 80’s to State College from NYC and back for a PSU football game. Amazing color along the way.
Road kill count back then was not as bad as what I’ve seen in Vermont and New Hampshire. Now road quality was horrible.
