I bought a new house!

Lovely! Congratulations. Three years ago we accomplished our first move in 32 years, and it was a massive shift in our life.

And I’ve heard they drive on parkways and park on driveways.

Of course, it makes total sense.

You park on your driveway because that’s the way you to when you want to leave and drive somewhere. You drive on a parkway because that’s the way you drive to go to the place you’re going to park. That’s just English, mate.

I bought a new house! I’ll miss the mature trees, but I will not miss the mice; Althea will miss them. Built in 2021 so there is very little to do before moving in. I’ll need to do something about a fire pit, though. Geothermal heating and cooling, 10 mins from work. We close in December.
