sounds like it had a few like that sorted out my brother in laws watch once it was on so tight had to get my actual work bench out and clamp it on that then turn it with both hands on the 3-prong ..some say to stick them in the fridge for ten minutes but just never wanted to risk it

On the EXTREMELY tough ones, I have gone so far as to use superglue (cyanoacrylate) to attach the blade of a butter knife to the back of a frozen backplane (on a 70s vintage Hamilton, seemed rusted shut.) The knife acts as a lever. Then, once off, you can remove the knife and clean the residue with acetone.
Too many watches, not enough wrists.

I have another gray colored one that I should sell in its place.

I keep returning to the GS Spring Drive, because I like to keep the movement charged up. Despite the hugeness, I've grown quite attached to this thing.

I know the GS is a bit big, but it looks correct on your wrist. I’ve had a variation of this in both green and white dials. Spring drives are awesome. The smooth sweep is mesmerizing.

Not sure what to do with that one. These others might be available to someone interested.

I'd recommend keeping the Suunto Core. It has functions that G-shock don't have and in my opinion displays the daily functions in a better manner. I always liked the storm warning alarm on mine tied to the barometer.
The ani-digitals are not my thing and tend to be dificult to navigate menues.

I'm not so much into the idea of smart watches. I have a phone in my pocket for those things, so I can have the wristwatch more for design and time-only. I just like things smaller.
Speaking of which, today's test wearing is the Ball Ducks Unlimited. Before I sell any of these I want to make sure they function well. 43mm x 15mm, too big and heavy for my tastes, but very attractive.

It is based on the Engineering II Ball Diver, but these had different lume which I felt was better than the diver. If you joined Ducks Unlimited for $25 you could purchase the watch at a serious discount. At the time with the membership it was the best deal to get into a Ball watch. It should be on a sailcloth strap with a Ball deployant. On the internal bezel I guess the AM/PM could be set for sunrise and sunset along with the compass, both would be helpful out duck hunting.
One other note. I know that is a 40mm,but it looks bigger on tour wrist than the 43mm GS. The engineering series tended to wear big and this really shows that.

Two additions to the functional pile, battery swaps moving along for the Swiss Quartz part of the collection. Shiny blue Alpina GMT and barely worn Edox Chrono box queen. Both are around 42mm, nice looking watches.
