    Lidl ? ..... or Aldi , can't remember which , had some awhile back. Odd texture but not bad

    Laetiporus sulfureus is one of the safest and easiest to identify edible fungi out there. Reliable and delicious. Unfortunately, here in coastal California it seems to prefer eucalyptus trees, which give it a menthol flavor I don't care for. When they grow on deciduous hardwoods they are much more tasty.
    Too many watches, not enough wrists.
