I grew up fishing on a bay off of Lake Ontario, a little to the east of Rochester, NY. We ate a lot of bass, small- and largemouth. I always enjoyed them.

    Oh, catch and release? Nice.

I’ve never had largemouth bass before, but from quick Googling, it sounds like most people think they taste bad. I’d try it though. I ate turtle and rabbit in the same meal this weekend. I’m down to try just about anything. Though I should say that I’ve had both rabbit and turtle before, but never in the same meal.

I prefer bass blackened. For a freshwater fish, they can taste a bit more fishy than something like Walleye or Trout

Starting out with a Long Island. (Don’t they have cola in them?). Proper ethanol though. Good enough

Got to try this Pie on the Rocks next. Picture to follow.

Tastes like I’m not driving home.

A bit over-sweet for my taste, but very pumpkin pie.
