    Western brush rabbit. Very shy native cottontail. We usually have one or two in the garden each year. This is the closest I have managed to get so far.

    The invasive swan they are regularly chased out of the lake they tend to be aggressive this one on its own today

    In fairness, the heron has better motivation and agility.
    Once in awhile you get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right.

    I periodically revisit my dive photos. I generally process less than a quarter of them initially. This is from a dive in 2020. We had a shiver of four black tips circling us for around 20 minutes. I didn't know I had got a picture of more than one of them at a time. This was taken when I was still using the little Olympus Tracker with the 208 degree lens, so quality isn't great and everything is A LOT closer than it looks.
