    Hurricane Helene hit here.
    No power or water since last Friday. I have portable generator power when I can find gas. Utility companies are starting to rebuild infrastructure but will take time before restoring service.
    This morning cell phone started getting a signal. It's like a war zone here from the damage all over western north carolina.
    My house didnt sustain any tree damage so Im thankful for that.
    Long road to recovery for millions here.

    Been through that before, and I worked for the power company. Glad you are ok, and I am praying for all those impacted.
