    Affordable watch prices

For you individually what is the ceiling max price range for an "affordable" watch?

Yeah I would say affordability really relates to what you are getting for your money. Typically around the £1k mark is affordable, however paying £2k for a watch that typically would retail for £5k could be viewed as affordable too

My first post on this was poorly worded. It implied your personal watch buying power. Let me try again.

What, in your opinion, is generally accepted to be the max price of the "affordables watch segment". $100? $500?
Are micro-brands generally in the "affordables" range?

I would call that a "bargain buy". Getting a $50,000 watch for $10,000 is a great bargain but a $50,000 watch is not generally in the "affordables" segment.

    That is your affordable threshold?

How old are the kids in said family? If teenagers, yoir budget increases exponentially
