I personally dont don't get the fervor over Five Guys. It's a good fast food burger. A little better than Wendy's. But not life changing.

Maybe it's also a function of where I live. For a couple bucks more, I can get a really good burger, and for a few dollars more than that you can get a truly great one.

Having some friends over for the game tomorrow so I am precooking some ribs. I have a brisket going in next and then a pork shoulder and more ribs tomorrow.

Been walking around Philly all day. Went to the Terminal market to eat but didn't see anything new (I've eaten there many times) so went across the street to Field house. Had their cheesesteak (acceptable/good: I don't know how many more places are left in this town for me to have a cheesesteak) and some fried mac n' cheese cubes which weren't bad; served with a decent marinara and for some reason buffalo sauce, which to me was a miss. They have a house rootbeer on tap which was excellent (I used to love craft rootbeer) and a couple of craft beers from Yards. I'll go stick those in the beer thread.

Having a few beers at the hotel and then over to the stadium, where there will be more beer and Chickie n' Petes crabfries. Go Flyers!

    Here are the categories:

    1. Western Mediterranean (Italy, Spain, France)
    2. Eastern Mediterranean (Greece, Lebanon, Turkey)
    3. East Asian (Thai, V-Namese, Chinese, japanese Korean)
    4. South American
    5. North American
    6. Indian (Indian, Cambodian, Malay, Indonesian)

After hours of suffering, I ended up choosing Western Med. Gaaa!!!!! I love all the others too!
I can't do this, too many wonderful possibilities and my favourite food of all time is invariably the one on the plate in front of me at the time. In two weeks it'll be totally new to me flying fish sandwiches. I only hope they stop flying once cooked. ...
