Hell of an anniversary gift for her

Nothing’s permanent, but I gave up my supermarket Zinfandel experiment (Cline’s was tough to beat ~$9) and an off/on German & (mostly) American craft beer hobby in July. Andechs’ Dopplebock Dunkle represents the former well, while Big Bad Baptist’s Double Chocolate Double Peanut Butter Cup was the kind of high-alcohol fun that made seeking out $12 bottles of beer worth it.

    Theses days it’s:

    Generic purified water

    or

3 gm Nescafe w/10 gm Dutched cocoa & 100 gm half & half in a 16 oz mug. Low carb potassium & avoiding total boredom’s the goal here.

    or

Two Twinings Irish Breakfast tea bags steeped for 4:30 in a 16 oz mug with 60 gm of half & half.

Other than not liking any sort of writing on those mugs, that’s about it.

Congrats on the healthy choice! I will be pulling back on consumption when Oktoberfest beer season wraps up

Coffe is always on the menu!

I heard about it from instagram and did some googling. It’s an established fact that Jack Daniel was taught distilling from a slave.

Went to an American bar that was playing some nfl which was terrible but had some pickleback shot things which is a shot of scotch then a shot of pickle juice which was great fun. The end.
