Western brush rabbit. Very shy native cottontail. We usually have one or two in the garden each year. This is the closest I have managed to get so far.
Too many watches, not enough wrists.

The invasive swan they are regularly chased out of the lake they tend to be aggressive this one on its own today

In fairness, the heron has better motivation and agility.
Once in awhile you get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right.
