It's such a good looking car. I want one!!

You could get them with a manual in some of the trims here in the US, too. Cool cars.

I've had two of them. It is a great looking and preforming car it's just not very comfortable for us older folks. Even if your as small as my wife , it does not have that much room inside.

If you do get one I recommend one of the supercharged V6 over the supercharged V8. It was designed for that engine and no matter what they tried they can't fix the loss of balance the V8 causes. Both are equally loud even in quite mode and Jaguar's insistence on bliping to half throttle on startup means you can never leave without everyone knowing your heading out. At least through 2018 models there was no way to disable this. A few low cost factory parts and a flash and the V6 can be at over 490HP at the rear wheels. If you can get one with the Pirelli tires that is the best factory option.

I loved ours in Orange with the orange stitched and accented black interior. . I questioned the color at first, but after having it a few months It would be the only color I would have and F type in. This is a F Type S. The V8 R we had was white with red interior. I only had it about three months and traded for the orange. The difference between the V6 Superchange and the V8 supercharge handling wise was the difference between a scalpel verses nervousness. Unfortunately Jaguar choose to keep adding power to the V8, but never pushed the V6 any further. I never drove a I-4 turbo version. The V8 supercharged was great in the XJR we had one tuned up to 575 hp. Since it was intened to be the engine all along it worked like a charm in that.

Definitely could see myself in a V6 manual F-Type roadster at some point. Hard to find, but certainly a future classic.

Yes, I would prefer the supercharged V6 if for no other reason than I could get a manual. I take your point about the V8... I do think the trim packages on the V8 look cooler (I could be mistaken, maybe they are the same), but not a deal breaker... Not that I can get a Jag right now anyway... My favorite color is the Giola Green. I saw one in person with the tan trim and it looked so so good.

I generally don’t like green on cars, but that looks fantastic.

The one Sunday morning when we still lived in south Florida two Viper ARC pulled into the left lane at the light is still crystal clear in my head. They are so outrageous in that nothing else comes closer to a race car for the street. I’ve wanted one of these since that day. Nothing on them looks out of place that they could be sitting in a pit stall at a GTP race. Pure bad ass cars.
