They certainly lost it with that one.

not too sure about the seven though
Duckworth-Preston does have a few nice pieces. I particularly like this one:

Tried posting earlier, but my connection was terrible.

The aluminum bezel, and execution, on that Bremont look surprisingly low value for Bremont. Cheapening appearance

It does look quite cheap. Seems like something more in the $900-1200 range, certainly not 3-4 grand. I can’t imagine someone looking at that and thinking “Yeah, I’ll have that over a Tudor Black Bay, Black Bay 58, Pelagos 39, Longines Legend Diver, Hydroconquest GMT, Breitling SuperOcean 42, or an Omega Seamaster 300M, this is the moment my biographers will note as the turning point in my life”.

Knowing the new company, I wouldn’t put them past that they found a box of leftover trainmaster.

Bremont has all the appearances of being run by a financial guy not someone interested in watches. Sad that Nick and Giles are no longer involved with the company. They are great guys and had passion for what they were doing. This looks very similar to what happened to Anonimo.

I was paging through the latest edition of Watchtime magazine, and I came across these. Back in 1985 there were three watches that I bought. One was the blue dial Rolex submariner to Town. The second was an Aqua racer 2000 tag and as a beater watch, I picked up one of the tag watches for about $80. I see tag has released a series of these in multiple colors like they did back in the 80s called the F1 kith but they’re now $1500.
