No strange lights this morning. Just to be sure I checked at 5 AM and 5:30 AM and there was nothing there. There’s not a large spacecraft hovering over the lake so we assume it’s also not the independence Day. Staying with Ploprof for another week. Sunrise this morning also.

Happy to be home, and it was really nice to sleep in my own bed. Our one checked bag never left Amsterdam, but that was really the only travel issue we had for the whole trip. It was a rolling garment bag with our dress up clothes, and it was the return trip. It’ll show up in a couple days so no big e. I’ll spend the day unpacking, doing laundry, and making a trip to the grocery store. I’m feeling for the wife as she has to work today. Send her happy thoughts.

Once in awhile you get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right.

Too many watches, not enough wrists.

Hate to be a downer, but don’t feel much like celebrating our country’s birthday today. From terrible election choices, to terrible court decisions, to a political system where talking to the other side is viewed as traitorous, I am very worried about the future.

Wearing a watch that is as old as I feel today.

@mlcor - empathizing 100%, perhaps similar thoughts underneath my old-watch choices today.
