Her wrist is 16 cm and she mostly likes the wearability. Case diameter or thickness are not an issue, and biggest plus is the non-existent weight. Her main comment is that ”it feels like nothing on the wrist”.

Biggest downside is the strap, which is a bit stiff, at least at the moment. She likes to wear it loose, which makes it sit at a height not optimal. More wear for OEM velcro, or different strap might help in the long run.

Overall she’s very happy with the watch. It makes a fun addition to her main rotation, which at the moment is Nomos Tangente and Suunto Lumi.

That certain looks beefier and sturdier than your last stand. But it does kind of make your Big Green Egg look like the jury-rigged ferryman astromech from The Mandalorian. Which, to me, is a good thing.

And what did you buy today ?

I’d really like to have a Big Green Egg grill But they weigh too much for me to move them around to places I would want it to be. Would also need much bigger tires to go down my stone path to take it to the tiki bar for parties. I’ve tried to keep it out at the tiki bar, but there’s always an occurrences during the normal week that I’d like to have the grill close to the house. That would be about a 1 to 2 hour operation every time I wanted to move the grill.

I was looking for a red/maroon dial diver. I was planning on an Orient Kamasu, but saw this inexpensive Phoibos diver at a sale price. It arrived a little while ago. Finally got around to sizing the bracelet.

Love a hand wind and couldn't resist the blue of the dial, at least from the photos, ordered the bracelet too for a change up to the look, pic from the interwebs . . .

Did not know they did a hand wind version. Nice.

Side question - how many reversos do you have at the mo?! I think you got rid of a few?

Yep, Hamilton came out with the hand wind for this model only recently, don't know how recent and I stand to be corrected, but looking forward to it.

Good memory Geoff - I had a love for the Reverso for many years but it ran its course (which did surprise me a bit) and I sold all the ones I had. Some days I miss one/them but not enough to rebuy, which I've done in the past with other watches.

I think I am getting to a point of satisfaction and holding on to just watches that I really, really like. Famous last words for sure but/and we'll see what the future holds. Hope you've been well, it's been quite a number of years since we first "met" (online) and I wish you nothing but the best now and forever!!
