Perfect Art Deco vibe! I really like this one. ... must... resist...
Too many watches, not enough wrists.

What a lovely thing! I might be tempted myself but couldn't get myself to shell out that much coin for something I'd only wear once in a blue moon (and I would because no date = no utility).

As for straps, I'd give up on greys and focus on well saturated browns (tan, camel etc) to give it more life.

Perfect and congratulations!! Huge fan of that release! If I were nor funding a relo right now, one od these would already be ordered. What's not to like?!?! Great on every strap!

Already said I liked this one. I vote for the contrast of one of the lighter brown straps, personally.

I like this watch a lot. Looks terrific and not like everything else out there. I prefer the brown range of straps, but there's no denying that all the strap colors work well.

    Congrats!

With having an olde worlde vibe the weathered brown for now.
Would have thought ostrich but has an odd look imo , padding didn't help , or the contrast stiching.
Some greys give a wishy washy blandness.
After two days to the second , we'll see in a couple of days if this holds out.

Beautiful watch, I actually like the grey straps against the colors of the dial, at least in the photos . . . . I have the black dial model incoming, depending on how it looks up close will either keep it or exchange for the silver, such a strange addiction we're affected by, eh . . .

    Thanks
Looking forward to your pics. and thoughts when in mate.

Many moons ago had a similar centre second S & T quartz which had a grey mock lizzie strap which looked pretty good. Battery kept draining , as quartz do for me , got rid.Taken some time to get a grown up version
Yes , agree grey can work if the right shade/pattern , yet some look drab.
