I'm not wearing body armor in a desert. This is nothing.

    How hot are you

Apparently the hottest peppers in the world can dish out the heat but can’t take it. Lol

Heat index of 90° F after midnight is ridiculous. Air conditioner never stops

In 2007 my unit deployed to Nicaragua on a peacekeeping/goodwill mission. We built a schoolhouse (engineering unit) in the literal middle of nowhere.

February of 2007 flying from Sioux Falls South Dakota where it was like 10F, and touching down in the middle of the night in Managua where it was 90+ and humid. It's the memory that keeps me grounded during these hotter days.

Best part of the whole ordeal, they issued us all Doxycycline as a preventative against Malaria. Which of course makes you UV Sensitive. My heritage is Irish/Swedish and I already burn in Moonlight. Spent the whole time there wearing long sleeves because sunscreen just wouldn't work. Still have a picture of a guy's back where you can see the clear outline of his fingertips where he found the end of his reach applying sunscreen. (What, help a friend apply sunscreen? We're not the Navy...) Jokes aside, I'd have helped, just was never asked.

It could always be worse :

Thunderstorms came through last night, took some of the heat away. Down to a high of 87F today from 95F yesterday.
