Depending on what those kilos are made out of, they could significantly increase the value of the car.

Until the police auction, of course.

For me that would be about 15-20 years worth of miles. For some that is a year and a half. About 6k is a high mileage year for me now.

KBB has your private sale value at $29k-$35k.
About $10k shy of a new loaded Golf R.

I guess I was thinking you could lateral to the Golf even up or within $2k. Suggest move to a Porsche if you can. Much better value retention.

Yes, a bit of a hoarder; I have magazines with articles for every car I have owned and the sales brochure for all bought new and quite a few that were not. I'll also note that at least at Champion Porsche if you tell them your car is a 997 -911 they will ask you for the full model name Porsche 911 Carrera 4S Cabriolet to look up parts.. That was the practice through 2014. I was feeing better know that the as tested price of the Porsche 911 Carrera 4S Cabriolet in the article was less than $90K. Wish they were there now.

So many instances of wish I had bought one then with cars, especially Porsche. A guy I know has the last year 993 Turbo S with under 4k miles, I remember seeing them in the $80k range - he got an offer of $500k for his and he refused because he thinks it's going much higher.

I still occasionally fume at the $11,500 1983 911SC 5 speed I missed out on in college. That was a forever car—and worth 5 times now what it was then.

Like now, for instance. I’m fuming now. You don’t want the hear the full story, because on the surface, it’s entitled whiny rich kid stuff, but it’s a deeper thing that eventually culminated in my father illegally selling my 2008 Boxster S out from under me to buy a Lexus LS460. So it’s not all whiny entitled rich kid stuff.

Instead of regretting x that you didn't buy back then, instead buy y today, so you won't regret again.

    SUV... boo.

Looking at possible replacements for my Aprilia if it's totaled. MV?

Not sure on the reliability of these - I have been lucky with the Ape, not sure I want to push my luck.

Some hidden damage on the bike... the mount for the steering damper that is integrated into the frame appears to be cracked.

And, there is a small ding on the right side frame.

The main wiring harness for the bike has been damaged.

Side panel where my left leg was crushed, broken mounts under the tank.

The fairing traveled so far back there is deer hair and broken bits in the ignition.

The radiator was pushed back several inches.

And my entire gauge cluster was destroyed.

There is a lot more damage, those are some of the highlights.
