I do enjoy a Ketel One on the rocks, as well as a good bourbon, Scotch, and some dark Rum.
Those days are behind me though. Wine or beer now, nothing more potent

Same with campari for that matter.
I like to take some gin, pour it into a glass, and then pour it down the drain, which is where it belongs.

You misspelled bourbon, but you're otherwise spot-on.

I find myself leaving beer further and further behind these days. Now it’s just real booze or wine with dinner. I don’t drink so much anymore, so when I do, I want something really good. These days, when I go out, it’s, what, 3 to 5 cocktails and I’m good to go? And no hangovers with that little alcohol. I get a decent buzz going, maintain it, and then drink a bottle of water before bed. Beer tends to be rougher on my stomach, I don’t know what it is.
I’d never stop drinking beer altogether, though, even though I haven’t had one in over 5 years. But there’s always room in my life for a pint of Guinness.

I drink 1/2 a beer 1-2 times/week at the direction of my urologist. I doubted it, but it has helped (along with other dietary changes) me from regular, severe kidney stones to no event-worthy stones in over 10 years.
There are times I may go 2-3 weeks without one, but I try to get at least 1/2 one occasionally
Do not enjoy feeling buzzed, definitely not drunk. May sound pdd, but true

Guessing it was expensive! Hope it was worth it?
